Here is the voyage of a passionate « typote ». A voyage from A to Z through language, imagination, training and fabrication. This work presents the twenty-six letters of the alphabet, each associated with an image and a word, composed by hand in the traditional manner in their entierety, using only typographic ornaments and metal type.

This book highlights the knowledge that the author has acquired, under the auspices of Jean-Renaud Dagon, master printer, in his typographic workshop Le Cadratin.

Available in 4 formats, all printed in 3 colour letterpress on Cordenons Wild paper:

Poster - the 26 letters of the alphabet, reunited on a poster of 72 x 102 cm on 150 gsm stock.
Cards - the 26 lettres of the alphabet, printed on individual cards 15 x 15 cm on 300 gsm stock. Presented in a printed jacket.
Standard edition - bound book with linen spine. The 64 interior pages are printed on 150 gsm stock.
Deluxe edition - includes 1 example of the standard edition, 1 set of 26 cards and an accompanying booklet featuring photos of the typographic compositions, all presented in a hand-made linen clam-shell box.

Edition of 75 examples each of the poster, cards and standard edition, numbered from 1 to 75, of which 1 to 50 are presented as the deluxe edition with accompanying booklet and presentation box. In addition 8 examples are numbered as HC 1 to HC 8 and reserved for the author. This represents the original edition.
