Encres d'aube - Anne Egli-Décombaz et Alexandre Voisard

This work unites in a subtle balance 24 original linocuts by Anne Egli-Décombaz and the poems of Alexandre Voisard. From a collaboration maintained by correspondence between the two artists, one from Vaud and the other from the Jura, a secret osmosis is created in which two forms of artistic expression, image and text, blend harmoniously. The result is a magnificent work where the ink of the artist, the ink of the poet and that of the typographer meet.

Composed manually in mobile type, printed in letterpress on BFK Rives paper by Peter Egli, typographer, the book was printed on the presses of the Le Cadratin typographic workshop in Sottens. Each copy is hand-bound by the D-lines workshop in Vevey.

The edition is limited to 54 copies numbered from I to XLII and signed by the artist and the poet.
