Brasil, limonade Suisse - Eric Mathyer

Swiss Lemonade is made of lime with rind, water, sugar and ice, all mixed in the blender and quickly strained. It is important to drink it without waiting, before it becomes bitter. This lemonade, that is found throughout Brazil, despite its name, is not Swiss. It's refreshing, sweet and tangy... much like this book, I think.

I am a curious observer who does not know where to turn, so I let myself be guided by my camera in front of this swarm of images. This selection of snapshots of people from this country in their universes has been chosen from the large number of my photos taken since 2013 on this theme. Some have already been shown in exhibitions in Brazil, all evoke small pieces of life.
